If he is a player he can not rejoin the touch training potentially leave him with a question about restarting the Premier League for another week.

The top-flight is expected to resume in less than two weeks on 17 June with Arsenal’s trip to Manchester City and Aston Villa vs. Sheffield United, with Spurs set to resume the weekend against Manchester United on June 20-21.

The result of the fifth round of testing was 5,079 tests since the centralized program began on May 17-18 takes the total number of top-flight positives to 13, with tests being carried out twice a week.
Of the 1,130 people tested in the preceding round, there was no positive cases with six, two, and four good outcomes in the first three rounds, respectively.

Though players will return to the training ground for individual sessions on the eighth day, subject to a negative test outcome, they do not fit dramatically until they return to their first game. The current protocol as part of Project Restart rules that for a total of 14 days, including seven days of self-isolation, a Premier League player returning a positive test would be kept away from group training anyway.

In a statement, Spurs said: “The Premier League has told us that after the latest test round at our place we received one positive test for COVID-19 at the Training Centre. The individual’s name will not be released due to medical discretion.
