A member of Juventus’ squad tested positive for COVID, but he is not a footballer, according to the club.

The Old Lady will face Hellas Verona on Saturday and Spezia at the Allianz Stadium on Tuesday.

“A positive Covid-19 test was discovered during the tests provided for by the protocol in force from a (non-player) member of the team community who was put in isolation,” reads the club’s official statement.

“The club is in touch with the appropriate health authorities to define an efficient implementation of the procedures necessary to enable the Team Group to practice and compete.”
