AC Milan is in negotiations to extend midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu’s deal.
The sides are incapable of deciding on wages, according to La Gazzetta Dello Sport. The club offered a deal with a salary of EUR 3.5m to the player (Calhanoglu is currently earning EUR 2.5m).
Under the new contract, the player aims to receive €5m excluding bonuses.
Yesterday, Milan CEO Ivan Gazidis announced that the club is in negotiations to extend the contract of the midfielder.
In the summer of 2021, the new deal between the player and the club expires. This season, Calhanoglu played 14 games in Serie A, scoring one goal and providing six assists.
