Inter announced Antonio Conte will continue as head coach at San Siro after a ‘constructive’ meeting between the tactician and patron Steven Zhang.
The former Juventus coach announced after the Europa League Final that he was unsure about his future but decided to go on with President Zhang and have another go to win the Scudetto next season.
During the meeting held in a villa outside Milan, Sky Sport Italia confirmed the participation of the respective lawyers. But the club has named Conte to be their head coach ahead of the 2020-21 season.
“The club-to-Antonio Conte meeting today was positive, in the interests of stability and joint approach,” the club wrote in an official statement.
“The foundations have been set up to carry on the project together.”
