Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta officially plans to sign PSG’s Draxler as part of a deal that could see Hector Bellerin join the French champions. This summer, Bellerin is reportedly ready to leave the Emirates Stadium, and the Spanish right-back, who has been with the Gunners since 2011, is thought to be PSG’s favorite.
According to journalist Duncan Castles, Arteta is open to moving on to the former Barcelona and has signaled that the club should attempt to negotiate a swap agreement involving Draxler.
“It is our knowledge that Bellerin and his agent told the club that he would like to leave this summer. Arteta agreed that we had to make the most of the chance,” Castles told the podcast about the Transfer Window.
Bellerin’s most likely suitors are PSG. And in this case, Arteta told Edu that he asked Edu to explore the possibility of a swap deal for Julian Draxler, given the circumstance that it is more feasible for business players.
