If Barcelona’s new president, Joan Laporta, is elected, the club will agree to negotiate a contract with Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin.
Bellerin, who joined Arsenal’s first-team right-back spot after leaving Barcelona’s La Masia academy at the age of 16, has not been without controversy in recent months.
The Spain international was linked with a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain last summer, but the deal fell through. He is now expected to depart at the end of the current season, with Camp Nou the most likely destination.
According to The Mirror, Laporta has already discussed a possible return with Bellerin’s entourage.
