Arsenal is said to have been considering buying off Mesut Ozil ‘s contract, but the playmaker insists he wants to see his career through.
Mesut Ozil has confirmed that he wants to remain at Arsenal until the contract expires next year.
Since failing to make an appearance for the Gunners following the lockout, it has been reported that World Cup winner Ozil is finding an exit from the Emirates Stadion.
Last week Arsenal announced plans to make 55 staff redundant due to the coronavirus pandemic and are said to be able to get Ozil ‘s salary off the wage bill – valued at £350,000 a week.
Nevertheless, the 31-year-old playmaker insists he will stay at the club and give his all in the season to come.
