In the Netherlands, former Arsenal head coach Arsene Wenger might replace Ronald Koeman if he joins Barcelona.
A 70-year-old French specialist informed the federation of his readiness to take up this post, according to Fox Sports journalist Joost van Gangelen.
Wenger served as the Gunners’ head coach from 1996 to 2018. He then went to work at FIFA, but now works primarily as a news analyst.
Koeman has led the Dutch national team since 2018.
The squad joined Euro 2020 under his guidance after having missed two major tournaments in a row and reached the final of the League of Nations’ first draw.
