In a wild second half in Bergamo, there were six goals, including absolute stunners from Luis Muriel and Piotr Zielinski.
A brilliant Zielinski volley canceled Duvan Zapata’s header, waiting for the Matteo Politano ball to float over his shoulder.
Before Muriel pounced on a Tiemoue Bakayoko mistake to turn defenders inside out and blast into the close top corner, Robin Gosens then got on the end of a Duvan Zapata assist.
As Gosens accidentally put Politano’s cross into his net, it was still not over, but Cristian Romero got his head to the corner of Muriel.
Six minutes later, Gosens scored a new goal for Atalanta after a great play, and in the 71st minute, with a great shot from the edge of the penalty area, Muriel extended the lead to 3-1.
Gosens, in the 76th minute with a sloppy reaction in front of his own goal, scored his own 3-2 goal, but with a new goal, Romero set the final 4-2 in the 79th.
Among them is the Juventus winner, with 42 points and two fewer matches.
