PSG coach Thomas Tuchel says he is particularly fascinated by Atalanta’s quarter-final opponents in the Champions League.
‘We have a very special look and at any given moment Papu Gomez will walk easily. Being able to defend well against Atalanta would be very important,” Tuchel told beIN Sports.
“They have an extremely different theme. They strike with all their clubs, keep pushing forward, and the press everywhere. Gomez, their Number 10, can always play openly. He is trying to blend in with other players in small spaces.”
Gian Piero Gasperini ‘s men scored 98 goals in 38 Series A rounds and failed to reach the target twice in the season, “They want to play both sides with very offensive wingers, they put in crosses but can also hit shots from a distance. All this means we have to be very concentrated in defense and try not to concede, but we know that’s going to be very difficult to hold a clean sheet against Atalanta.”
