Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has revealed that Canary captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s involvement in the EPL match against Manchester United in the 21st round is in doubt.
Owing to his mother’s sickness, the forward missed the FA Cup and EPL games against Southampton. The footballer revealed yesterday that she was feeling better.
“I don’t know if he’s playing. Yesterday, we had a chat. The situation has improved, but we have to wait to see how it works,” Arteta said at a press conference.
“He’s our captain, one of the team’s most valuable players. We’re doing our best to get him back as soon as we can, but we realize he’s been through some stressful days. He had to support his family, and we were there for him, giving him the time he needed.”
