How much money Borussia Dortmund could receive from Barcelona for midfielder Ousmane Dembele has now become known.
According to Marca, if the Frenchman plays against Alaves on Saturday, he will receive a bonus from the German club again. That would bring the transfer fee to €135m by that point. It should be remembered that in 2017 the Catalan club paid EUR 105 million for the player, with generous bonuses also spelled out in the agreement.
Some of them have been activated multiple times already. For instance, after each Champions League appearance, Barca must pay Borussia Dortmund €5m.
For every 25 games played by a player in Barcelona, Borussia will also receive €5m. It is under this clause that if Dembele plays against Alaves, Borussia will receive money from Barca.
In the agreement, there is also a € 10m bonus. If Barça wins the Champions League twice in a squad with Dembele, it is activated.
This season, the Frenchman played 15 La Liga matches for the club, scoring two goals and providing two assists.
