Barcelona midfielder Ousmane Dembele expects to negotiate with the club’s new president a contract extension.

According to Diario Sport, the footballer, whose new deal expires in 2022, has declined to negotiate a contract extension with the Catalan club’s interim management.

In the summer, Barcelona could sell the Frenchman if he declines to renew his agreement with the club. Manchester United, Chelsea, Juventus, and Bayern are tracking the situation and could make contact in the coming months with Dembele’s entourage.

If the performance of the midfielder continues to improve, Barca will try to retain him.

This season, the 23-year-old has scored 2 goals and one assist in 12 La Liga games
