According to sources, BARCELONA is interested in signing Sergio Aguero, David Alaba, and Eric Garcia.
Last weekend, the club’s members voted Joan Laporta as president.
And he’s not wasting any time getting back to work in the role he held from 2003 to 2010.
Barca is cash-strapped, and manager Ronald Koeman has had no space to maneuver in the transfer market so far.
Laporta has already met with a Dutchman, according to Mundo, and the two are planning a trio of high-profile free transfers this summer.
Aguero, Alaba, and Garcia all appeal to the club as top-tier players whose contracts are coming to an end.
Garcia has already signed a five-year contract, according to Fabrizio Romano, ahead of a summer move.
However, acquiring Alaba and Aguero would be difficult for Barcelona, as both are expected to demand large wages, with PSG reportedly willing to pay the former £400,000 a week.
Laporta has also spoken with Lionel Messi about his plans, which will be determined in the coming months.
“I will be calling Lionel Messi,” Laporta, 58, told RAC1 after his election.
