In Hansi Flick’s 60-game reign, Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich blew a 2-0 lead to lose to Borussia Monchengladbach – just their fourth loss.

The champions seemed to be put in charge by a Robert Lewandowski penalty and a 20-yard Leon Goretzka effort.

But with two finishes from Lars Stindl’s throws, Jonas Hofmann had Gladbach back level.

Three minutes after the break for the seventh-placed hosts, Florian Neuhaus then smashed home a brilliant winner.

In his Treble-winning 14 months as Bayern manager, two of Flick’s four defeats have come to Gladbach.

Bayern stayed at the top of the German top flight, but RB Leipzig was able to overtake them on Saturday with a win over fourth-placed Borussia Dortmund (17:30 GMT kick-off).
