Wing-back Cristiano Biraghi reported during the run-in that ‘everybody is needed’ at Inter, as the Nerazzurri picked up ‘an important victory’ over SPAL on Thursday night.

The 27-year-old scored the 2-0 goal and set Alexi Sanchez’s third goal, and was happy to play, taking Inter back to second in Series A.

“It was necessary because we knew SPAL was fighting, but it’s never easy to meet aggressive teams,” he told DAZN (via Football Italia).

“We figured if we took the lead we could take the game home. We ‘re second, that’s what happened, we ‘re going on now. In the last match we couldn’t get the result, we’ve achieved it this time and we have to continue like this. We ‘re fit and this is very much needed. The whole team has got to work intensively, they just need to.”
