Celtic boss Ange Postcoglou revealed that defender Christopher Jullien is set to return soon after the winter break from a lengthy spell on the sidelines. Despite a number of players returning, Postecoglou is looking to wrap up their January signings as soon as possible. Julien is yet to play under Postecoglou with his recovery stalling a number of times this season.

“He’s had a couple of little setbacks but we are hoping now that he’s at a point where he’s ready to train fully with the team and make himself available. He’ll be a great addition.” Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou said about Christopher Jullien. “He’s a good player, he’s very commanding, he’s very confident in himself. So we will get him involved and I’m sure he can add to us. Celtic also looks likely to have reinforcements secured by then with reports in Japan declaring they have made further progress in their pursuit of several targets.”

Celtic are hopeful to welcome back the likes of Giorgos Giakoumakis, Jota, and James Forrest after the international break. They have also been heavily linked to Daizen Maeda from Yokohoma Marinos in the Japanese league.
