In former Barcelona and Manchester City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo, Real Betis roped in a one-year deal with an option to extend the La Liga season for a further 12 months.
As a result, the Chilean goalkeeper has now become the second signing of the season for Betic. Betis has released an official statement stating they have reached an agreement to integrate Bravo, 37, into the squad.
‘Real Betis Balompié has reached an agreement to add goalkeeper Claudio Bravo. In this way, the Chilean goalkeeper becomes the second Verdiblanco Club reinforcement for the 2020/2021 season. Bravo partners with the Heliopolitan organization for one year and an optional one,’ the official statement said.
Born on 13 April 1983, in his native country, Bravo started his professional football career with Colo-Colo.
The goalkeeper was roped in by Real Sociedad after having made 123 appearances with Colo-Colo from 2002 to 2006. He went on to play for the side for eight seasons and made 229 appearances for them in total.
