Former Real Madrid midfielder Rafael Martin Vázquez believes Ronaldo will return, but that “money might be a problem.”

Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with a summer return to Real Madrid, and Zinedine Zidane’s comments about the Juventus striker have fueled speculation about his future.

Former Real Madrid midfielder Rafael Martin Vázquez expects the Portuguese star will return to the Bernabeu in the summer.

“In football, as in life, nothing can be ruled out. I’m not going to throw it away. Nothing is impossible,” he told La Gazzetta Dello Sport, even though the situation is complicated.

“Behind the scenes, there is a great love story between the club and the player, as well as between the president and the player.”

He went on to say, “The stresses created by the farewell have been resolved. It appeared unlikely three years ago that he will join Juventus. It seems that he will be able to return to Madrid now.”
