Dejan Kulusevski brought Parma to victory over Brescia, assisting Matteo Darmian and scoring himself for the amazing winner.

The Rondinella were already relegated, while after a bad post-lockdown period, Parma was just eager to finish in the top ten.

Stefano Sabelli, Gaston Brugman and Dimitri Bisoli, Alfredo Donnarumma, Andrea Cistana, Jesse Joronen, Simon Skrabb and Emanuele Ndoj were also missing from Brescia.

Without Andreas Cornelius, Juraj Kucka, Riccardo Gagliolo, and Matteo Scozzarella the Ducali made the voyage. In the warm-up, Alberto Grassi had a problem and made way for Antonino Barilla.

Parma snatched the victory with their star man Kulusevsky, who added his earlier assist with a stunning solo goal. His right-foot curler looped mercilessly past Andrenacci ‘s fingertips into the far top corner, just inside the field. This was, unfortunately, his weak foot.

Brescia was supposed to have equalized, but from five yards on the Bruno Martella cross from the left Aye could not hold the free header to the goal, while Andrenacci also flew to Mattia Sprocati’s palm and Luca Siligardi skimmed the crossbar.
