Former Real Madrid boss Vicente Del Bosque shared his memories of working with Brazilian striker Ronaldo, who transferred to the Madrid club in the summer of 2002.
“He was respected by everyone at the club and beyond. Ronaldo is a very nice guy. He didn’t like seeing other people upset. He was beautiful. He’s one of those players who just made the team better. He became a great leader because of his talent and because he was a good person.
I’m sure he would have been much better if it wasn’t for these injuries. All this affected the quality of his games because he was severely injured. Even so, he was a beast. A phenomenal player” Del Bosque said.
Ronaldo played for Real Madrid from 2002 to 2007.
