Douglas Costa has confirmed that during Juventus’ Coppa Italia match against Inter Milan, he enjoyed seeing Antonio Conte and Andrea Agnelli clash.
During the interval, Conte, who served under the Juventus president, raised his middle finger at him.
By criticizing him at the end of the game, Agnelli replied. It was a terrible display for the two respected Italian football figures.
Yesterday, Bonucci acknowledged that it was not anything to be proud of and said that it was a kind of heat-of-the-moment case.
On the other hand, Costa seems to like a fight like that, as he says he didn’t want to get involved in the matter, but he liked to see it happen as a spectator.
“It was nice, I don’t like to get involved in these situations, but when you see them from outside, these stories are nice,” admitted the Brazilian in a Q&A from Club House as quoted by Football Italia.
Upon being ordered to leave Juventus and make way for Federico Chiesa, Costa is currently on loan at Bayern Munich.
He wasn’t at his best in Germany and that would have seen him return to Turin in the summer.
