In the only Sunday match of the 20th Bundesliga round, Eintracht Frankfurt defeated TSG Hoffenheim 3:1 away. Due to heavy snowfall, Arminia Bielefeld’s clash with Werder Bremen was postponed.
For the tourists, the game at Rhein-Neckar-Arena could not have started better. Amin Younes launched a pass to the left of the penalty area in less than a quarter of an hour to Filip Kostic, who fired into the long corner to beat Oliver Baumann.
Shortly after the change of sides, Hoffenheim replied. With a similar shot to Kostic, Ihlas Bebou showed off, but first, he evaded his rival very easily.
We didn’t have to wait a long time for a reply. Evan N’Dicka and then Andre Silva joined the scoring list for Eintracht first. Both showed off after Filip Kostic’s center-forward with flawless head strikes.
The win made it possible for Eintracht to climb up to fourth in the table. TSH Hoffenheim is in 12th place.
