The owner of Fiorentina, Rocco Commisso, has promised to do ‘everything’ he can to help Franck Ribery despite his idiocy in the burglary.
Ribery experienced a difficult Sunday night as he found his home burgled after picking up an ankle injury during Parma’s 2-1 victory over Fiorentina.
Bayern Munich ‘s former winger then suggested he would be forced to leave the club for his family’s protection but Commisso promised to give him full support.
He told the official website of the club: “I am very disappointed and shocked by what happened Sunday night to Franck Ribery. We would all send our full support to Franck and his wonderful family. Apart from the financial loss, these incidents are very stressful for the victims because you can lose sentimentally valuable personal belongings that nothing can replace. More importantly, you are losing the sense of security that we should all feel when we leave home with our families – our wives, our children. We will do our utmost to help Franck feel safe again and help him over this difficult time. I ‘m sure Franck would demonstrate solidarity with the Fiorentina family by making him feel the love we all have for him.”
