Dusan Vlahovic scored a hat trick in the first half before Valentin Eysseric’s delicate finish took the game out of reach for Benevento Fiorentina.

Ribery sprinted forward, spread the ball to the left for Valentin Eysseric, who pulled back for Dusan Vlahovic to fire home again after just eight minutes.

Soon after, Lucas Martinez Quarta came close to adding a second, but he missed from six yards out after controlling the cross.

In Vigorito’s stadium, it was all Viola, and the second goal came from a corner. It was taken short for Eysseric’s cross, and Lorenzo Montip made a decent save on Martin Caceres’ header, but he couldn’t avoid Vlahovic’s follow-up from six yards.

After a German mistake in Pezzella, Adolfo Gaich attempted a back-heel to the net, prompting Bartlomiej Dragowski to save it.

Vlahovic, on the other hand, completed his hat trick spectacularly. With his back to the target, he hit a long Dragowski pass, turned, ran to the defensemen, and curled a stunner into the far top corner from a good 25 meters.

The 21-year-old Serbian became the first Fiorentina player to notch a hat-trick in the first half.

Since Kurt Hamrin in February 1964, the 21-year-old Serbian was the first Fiorentina player to score a first-half hat-trick in Serie A.
