Sadio Mane scored his 100th Liverpool goal to set up one of the expected football scores in the Premier League. The Merseyside club eased to a comfortable 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace, a win that took them to the top of the Premier League. Mane scored from close range after a header from Mohamed Salah was palmed into his path by Keeper Vincente Guaita. He also became the first player to score in nine consecutive games against the same opposition. Salah then helped himself to a goal in the 78th minute while Naby Keita scored a brilliant long-range goal in the 89th minute.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp: “We were not flying, we had to put out a proper performance. Our fans helped us, and I really liked it. When you look back at the end of the season, you look back at some games which were really fun, and others which were really important – this is one of those.”
Crystal Palace head coach Patrick Vieira: “I can’t say that I’m pleased when you concede three goals from set-pieces, there’s a frustration. At times we defended really well, and when you come to Anfield you can’t allow yourself to concede three times from set-pieces.”
