Watford secured one of the favourable football scores in the Premier League as they eased to a 3-1 victory over fellow promotion sides Norwich. They fell to their 15th consecutive loss in the Premier League. It is the longest losing run in the history of the top flight. Emmanuel Dennis crept in between center backs Grant Hanley and Ozan Kabak to get onto a beautiful cross by Kiko Fermenia to give the visitors the lead. Norwich equalized through Teemu Pukki in the 35th minute. Sarr then scored his goals in the 63rd and 75th minute to put the game beyond the reach of the hosts.

Managers Reaction

Norwich manager Daniel Farke: “It’s not time to feel sorry for yourself. It’s time to roll your sleeves up and work on it individually and as a team on the training pitch.” he added. “We have to improve defensively because we have conceded too many goals so far. A change of formation also perhaps helps.”

Watford manager Xisco Munoz: “We spoke about how we need to be more solid in defense and offense. It was a very good performance and we were able to control the game. We always want to control the game. We had a lot of chances to score, especially in the second half.” he added. “For me, it was a mature performance and the team is getting used to this level. But we need to work very hard to keep up this level.”
