Managers Reaction

Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst: “We are two teams fighting for the championship and when you lose against your direct opponent for the race it’s difficult. It’s not over but this result makes it more difficult for us. We started really well and when you lose it’s a big disappointment. We started well, scored an early goal and it gives you the confidence to get in the game. Second half, we tried to push and had chances, I think we played almost the whole second half in their half. You always know in transition moments they will be dangerous but we also created some good chances to get the equalizer. In the end, we failed.”

Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou: “I’m really proud of the players as it’s a difficult place to come to. They got off to a good start and we knew it was going to take a massive effort for us to turn it around. And I thought the boys were brilliant. We’ve had a character from day one and there’s a real steel to this team. It’s three points. There are another three points we need to get next week and we’ll just keep accumulating until we win something.”
