Potential applicants will be keen to join Arsenal on several different criteria, according to head coach Mikel Arteta. Mikel Arteta claims that any prospective new signing would not take much convincing to join Arsenal, a club with a “silverware obligation for the fight.”

With a change of head coach, the Gunners have endured a 2019-20 season see-saw since Unai Emery ‘s departure in November, but have shown promising signs in recent weeks under Arteta.

After the midweek triumph over the Premier League champions in Anfield, Arsenal posted an impressive 2-0 win over Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final on Saturday, improving the possibility not only of a trophy but also of a Europa League spot.

The two results clearly showed the progress made under the Spaniard who thinks that the club stands on and off the field would make them an attractive choice for any player (via The Guardian).

Arteta told the media: “I said it before I felt we shouldn’t bring in players who need a lot of convincing. This club has enough to draw the club. Because of the past, the way we do things, our traditions, the fans we have and, our stadium, the feeling I get when I talk to a lot of people is that the players real to come into the club. Those things are very sexy.”
