The Granada lost by 2-1 this Sunday at the reception to Eibar, without the regular starter Rui Silva due to injury, in a match linked to the 32nd round of the Spanish championship.
The Basque country team was the first to open the scoring in the 16th minute at the Nuevo Los Cármenes stadium with a well-targeted shot from De Blassis.
At the reopening of the second half, Granada responded right in the 48th minute with a goal from veteran Roberto Soldado, deflecting a cross from Puertas. But after 69 minutes, Eibar will leap to the front of the marker again. Orellana made a pass for Kike who shot well at the entrance to the area to correct the final result.
With this result, Granada holds the 10th spot with 43 points, four from Real Sociedad, which occupies the final place of entry to European competitions. The Eibar pushes away from the relegation zone and climbs 35 points to 15th position.
