Bayern Munich’s president has underlined his club’s interest in Leroy Sane. He believes that every team in the world would like to have the Manchester City winger.

The 24-year-old Sane suffered anterior cruciate ligament damage during City’s Community Shield clash with Liverpool. He has long been touted as a target for Bayern, with a move thought to be close last August.

Sane has not played competitively since but it does not seem that Bayern’s urge to get the former Schalke man back to the Bundesliga has waned.

Hainer ‘s predecessor, Uli Hoeness, expressed hope that the deal could be made last weekend, and over Sane ‘s future, there has been almost constant noise from various prominent figures in Bavaria.

Willy Sagnol expressed unspecified doubts about Sane character who was surprisingly omitted from the 2018 World Cup squad in Germany. This shows that not all of those were positive.

Alexander Nubel is certain to arrive at the Allianz Arena for next season. He is supposed to arrive with the goalkeeper’s switch from Schalke already sealed.

Nobel will be bringing fresh competition for the longstanding number one Manuel Neuer, who last month penned a contract extension until 2023. Former Bayern keeper and current board member Oliver Kahn insists this does not mean that a loan move for the 23-year-old is in the offing.

“No one here thinks of a loan, we ‘re all happy that Alex comes to us,” he said to Sky90. “Nothing is better than having two superb goalkeepers.
