Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has explained why club forward Wilfried Zaha declined to take a knee in support of the BLM before the match against West Bromwich Albion.
Zaha made a remark that requires no further clarification. He offered an excuse for his actions. This individual claims that the significance of this act has already been diminished, and that it has become a part of daily life.
Hodgson was quoted by the BBC as saying, “We know he was completely right. However, I would be very shocked if he received some negative feedback. Wilfried Zaha is one of the few people who are worried about bigotry, violence, and a level playing field. He is the face of the problem.”
