Ivan Gazidis says that Zlatan Ibrahimovic enjoys Milan’s “romantic” challenge and hopes for a contract extension for the Swede. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the “exception to all rules” and an extension to his Milan contract is conceivable, says Ivan Gazidis, CEO of the club.
Despite being 39, Ibrahimovic continues to dazzle in Serie A and has 14 goals in just 11 league appearances for the table-topping Rossoneri.
According to Sky Italia, “Ibrahimovic is the exception to all rules, always, he’s special,” Gazidis said.
“He has amazing personal and physical attributes. The rules change Ibra. Anything is possible in terms of renewal because he has a history with this club, this challenge is the most romantic of his career. Tomorrow, he could retire. He has done it already. Especially, I think he feels this challenge. He should renew himself. Why not? “
