Inter has unveiled its ‘postmodern’ home kit for the 2020-21 season, which features a zigzag style. A statement on Inter’s official website states the shirt ‘captures the best of Milanese society, values, and style through the revolutionary interpretation of the club ‘s traditional colors.’
“Inspired by Milanese designers’ pioneering work in the 1980s, Inter’s new home kit celebrates the city through a striking aesthetic which symbolizes the club’s shared identity and the people it represents.”
Nike Football Apparel’s vice president, Scott Munson added: “We continue our mission to question the club’s conventional striped logo, this time taking influence from one of Milan’s most significant fashion movements. The zig-zag graphic is a hallmark of post-modern design and a reminder of the slithering Biscione as well. The consequence is a completely unexpected package for home. While conventional black-and-blue stripes are being introduced, the biggest change is for the first time to include zigzags on a home jersey from Nerazzurri.”
To top it off, the kit has a black neck collar, black shorts, and blue socks.
