Until the new year, Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman will be out with knee and ankle injuries sustained in training at their home base with his national team, Clairefontaine, France.
The 20-year-old was tested by Bayern’s medical staff on Thursday, according to the Bavarians’ official website, and was found to have “torn a ligament in his knee and suffered a capsular tear in his left ankle.”
The club wished him a speedy recovery on Twitter. The injury is far from ideal for the Bundesliga champions, as stated by DW Sports’ Stefan Bienkowski.
Due to injury, Coman was already in and out of the team this season, completing 90 minutes just once.
