According to Jurgen Klopp’s lawyer, “his job in Liverpool is not over,” and “there is no back door available” for the Reds boss to leave Anfield.

During his five-year reign, Klopp has guided Liverpool to their sixth European Cup and first Premier League win, while also endearing himself to fans with his enthusiasm and infectious energy on the sidelines.

The Reds’ weak title defense in 2020-21 has dropped them to the sixth position in the table, raising concerns about the German’s future, but his agent Marc Kosicke has ruled out the possibility of him leaving this summer.

Klopp’s agent told Sport1 that Klopp’s work in Liverpool isn’t over yet.

“Because Jurgen still has a three-year deal with the Reds, there is no back door available.

“He said it emphatically so that there would be no room for speculation.”

Klopp’s job was safe going into the holiday season, with Liverpool sitting atop the Premier League table after a 7-0 thrashing of Crystal Palace on December 19.

However, results have taken a drastic turn for the worse since then, with Klopp being forced to extend his roster to the full and field those players in unnatural positions due to a defensive injury crisis.

Liverpool has won only four of their last 15 Premier League games and has lost six of their last six at Anfield, enabling Manchester City to regain hold of the title race.

Klopp steered the ship to safety with a 1-0 victory over Wolves on Monday night, but his side remains 25 points behind leaders City and five points behind fourth-placed Chelsea.

Following Joachim Low’s decision to step down after this summer’s European Championship, rumors that Klopp might take over the German national team started to circulate.

The Liverpool manager, on the other hand, has discounted the prospect of succeeding Poor, insisting that he plans to remain at Anfield until his new contract expires in 2024.
