A resurrected Antoine Griezmann has pleased Ronald Koeman as the Barcelona forward hopes to haunt Granada once more. For head coach Ronald Koeman, the success of Antoine Griezmann in Barcelona is important.
Griezmann scored twice and set up another as Barca won 4-0 last month at Los Carmenes in LaLiga. He has five goals in his last seven games, including the winner in a 2-1 home victory on Sunday over Athletic Bilbao.
“All season Antoine is working well,” Koeman said at his pre-match news conference.
“What a player has to do, which is to support the team to the fullest. There have been times with Antoine where he’s been scoring and when he’s not scoring, but they’re periods that every footballer goes through, we’ve all seen it. He’s nice now, and it’s important to me. In the team, we want to get the best out of each player.”
