Kelechi Iheanacho scored from the penalty spot for Leicester against Manchester City in a 1-0 win to lift the Community Shield. £100m Jack Grealish had all eyes on him and came on in the 64th minute for his debut. Iheanacho himself won the penalty when he forced Nathan Ake into a mistake. He then made no mistake from the spot against his former club.
Harvey Barnes started on the right for Leicester city for the first time since suffering a knee injury in February. Manchester City had a number of chances to take the lead with Riyadh Mahrez passing up a number of chances against his former club. Pep Guardiola will look to bounce back in their season opener against Tottenham in the Premier League.
