Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has emphasized that his squad cannot afford to lose points when the season nears its conclusion, adding that players must give all they have for “all that is out there.”

Liverpool, who are currently seventh in the Premier League table, are training for their Sunday match against Arsenal.

“Unfortunately, we do not live in a fantasy world. But if you ask me what I wish for this last time, I will say, ‘Come on, just go for what we have with everything that is out there, and then let’s see what we got for it.’ That’s the way I see it “Klopp was quoted as saying on the club’s official website.

“I didn’t have a game for almost three weeks, but the majority of my players had three.” We just have one session together today. But, in any event, that’s how we like to look at it – what we can do with it. We no longer have a lot of points to squander. On top of that, we have a demanding schedule in both the Premier League and the Champions League. “Things like that,” he said.

Klopp has said that returning from an international break is a struggle for all teams because players play under various structures and ideologies while representing their countries.

“Coming back from an international break is often a struggle for both teams since the players are from all around the world. They played for their respective nations, with various regimes, philosophies, match schedules, and so on” he said.

“You will have one session to put it back together, which is a struggle. We’re used to it, but it’s not a promise that it will all succeed. We’ll see how it fits this time, and then we’ll go for it,” Klopp continued.
