Louis Lancaster, who managed Manchester United at Watford, contrasts Michael Jordan with Borussia Dortmund and England winger. He says, ‘Jadon wants to play football. It doesn’t matter whether he is at a London council pitch or in front of 80,000 at Wembley’.

“I think we’re looking at a future Ballon d’Or winner,” said Louis Lancaster of Jadon Sancho, “100 percent.”

After his stand-out season with Borussia Dortmund, many regard the England international winger highly and he has been strongly linked to Manchester United, but Lancaster has done so ever since he first trained Sancho at Watford.

“When he was 13, I had Jadon and my first experience with Jadon was on a summer program,” said Lancaster.

“All who remain to form into one party with other players away on holiday. During the summer we had 12s to 16s all in one session. I recall seeing Jadon and the day he was an outstanding player was completely clear. If a player plays in their age group I think they ought to be exceptional. If they’re playing above age group they need to be good. What they need to do is live if they play two age groups above all. But yet, he was the best player.”
