Jack Grealish has been warned to avoid scaring off Manchester United and Chelsea with the “errors” he ‘s made off the field.

On the pitch, the captain of Aston Villa has been playing his way into consideration for a big-money move to a heavyweight Premier League. Before such a switch is made it appears to be only a matter of time, with interest building steadily heading towards the next window.

Different landing spots were mooted, with at this point Old Trafford considered being the most likely. For additional imagination, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is on the market, with Grealish checking loads of boxes for Red Devils.

Man Utd and Chelsea received transfer warning Grealish

Chelsea may also be tempted to transfer, although it was suggested that the 24-year-old wouldn’t look out of place at Liverpool or Manchester City as well.

However, Grealish did make unwelcome headlines for breaking the lockout protocol during the coronavirus crisis – causing him to issue a public apology.

Former Villa and Liverpool striker Stan Collymore hopes his lesson has been learned by a precocious talent, with a very real possibility that suitors will turn their focus elsewhere if they find too much of a gamble to be the talented playmaker.

“With an older guy now, looking at some of these young ones, older players will now be able to pick up the phone and say ‘talk about that – have a word about it’,” Collymore told SiriusXM.

Grealish is currently awaiting a return to action with Villa and is aiming to add nine goals and eight assists to his haul in 2019-20 as Dean Smith’s side struggle to avoid the drop.
