Can a streaker streak in a stadium with no fans? The question was asked by one man asked during the first leg of the Europa League quarter-final first leg between Manchester United v/s Granada on Thursday night at Nuevo Estadio de Los Carmenes – and the response is, well, yeah.

Manchester United v/s Granada| Match Interrupted By Streaker

Despite playing behind closed doors, Manchester United’s Europa League quarter-final first leg at Granada was disrupted by a streaker. An exhibitionist disrupted the first quarterfinal match between Granada and Manchester United. During the home team’s home attack in the fifth minute, Streaker raced onto the field, laughing and nude, in the center of a worldwide news broadcast.

Granada is ninth in LaLiga, and the Spanish club’s run to the last eight of the tournament drew many proud fans out onto the streets of the city before the game to celebrate.

In the run-up to the game, Granada fans let off red flares and warmly welcomed their team bus at the stadium, while the welcome for the United coach was somewhat less warm.

Unfortunately, Covid-19 limitations meant that Granada fans were not invited into the stands to watch their team tackle one of Europe’s greats in United, however, despite being barred from entry, one very determined, and very nude, man made his presence known.

Police Intervention

Early in the first hour, a wild-haired marauder sauntered through the Nuevo Estadio de Los Carmenes turf. The broadcast cameras narrowly captured the first appearance before being apprehended by police.

Police were called to interfere after a streaker disrupted Manchester United’s Europa League match at Granada. Even though the game was being played behind closed doors in Spain, the pitch invader ran on early in the first minute. It’s not plain who he is or why he’s in the arena.

The scruffy-looking fan made his way onto the pitch, leaving little to the imagination when entertaining an entire continent. Fortunately for the players, the incident was soon resolved and play resumed. It was a warm night in Granada, which was fortunate for the streaker.

United is attempting to take a first-leg lead in their Europa League quarter-final. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer seeks his first trophy as manager of the Red Devils. His team is a clear favorite to advance to the final four. The game represents their last possible opportunity to win a trophy this season.
