Manchester United is reportedly willing to go head to head this summer with Chelsea for the signing of West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice.
During the 2020-21 season, the 22-year-old was in excellent form for the Hammers, making 19 appearances in all competitions and not missing a single minute of Premier League action.
Rice has a contract with the option of another year at the London Stadium until June 2024, but there is thought to be considerable interest from Chelsea in the England international.
Allegedly, Blues manager Frank Lampard is willing to bring the midfielder to Stamford Bridge, but according to ESPN, United is firmly on the lookout for a player who could cost £ 70 million in the area.
A recent article reported that as he wanted to stay in London, Rice was not interested in moving to Old Trafford, obviously making Chelsea the favorites for his signature.
In all competitions, the Englishman has made 128 appearances for West Ham.
