Milan and Napoli have reportedly been in talks with Norwich City defender Ben Godfrey, sources in Italy say.
The 22-year-old center-back was unable to prevent Norwich from relegation to the Championship after its 30 appearances in the Premier League this term.
According to Calciomercato.it, he has already attracted the interest of many Italian clubs including Milan and Napoli.
Godfrey’s agent has been suggested earlier this week to meet with Milanese officials at a Milan hotel.
Napoli will also be interested in Godfrey if they face first-choice competition from Gabriel of Lille and more talks are due next week.
According to the paper, Norwich intends to sell Godfrey for € 30 million, which remains under contract until June 2023.
Roma has been linked with a possible swoop for the England Under-21 international earlier this summer.
