Mo Salah has revealed that he has not yet received a contract extension from anyone at Liverpool. Salah is under contract at the club till 2023 but has said no contract extension prospects have been offered to him. The forward has often hinted at a possible future in Spain with Real Madrid and Barcelona being possible destinations

Liverpool is languishing in sixth place in the Premier League. They won their first Premier League title last season. Virgil Van Dijk has been a big miss for the Reds after his season ended before it got started. Salah has scored 20 goals this season in spite of Liverpool’s poor form this season.

“No one is talking to me about that, so I can’t say much about that.” Salah said about talks of a possible contract extension. “No one in the club is talking to me about anything so I do not know.”

Mo Salah had said in an earlier interview that he was 100% committed to Liverpool. He insisted that he wanted to win more trophies with the team. Salah also mentioned that there are a number of personal records that he would like to break.

“I said before that I want to win the Premier League again, I want to win the Champions League again,” he added when asked about his remaining ambitions. “It’s a great thing to win, I’m just trying to win it again and again. Part of our job is to win trophies.”

Salah has scored 120 goals in the 193 matches played for the club in all competitions. He joined Liverpool in 2017 for a then club-record transfer fee.
