Mohamed Salah maintained that he wanted to remain as long as possible at Liverpool, but said his future was in the hands of the club.
Salah ignited a debate about his future when, during an interview with AS last month, he declined to rule out a move to Real Madrid or Barcelona.
At Liverpool, the star forward is signed until 2023, but the international Egyptian continues to be linked with a transfer.
Salah, who has scored 17 goals in 26 matches in all of this season’s competitions, said he wanted to stay at Anfield.
“I do not know. If you ask, I say I want to stay here as long as I can, but as I have said before, it is in the hands of the club. At the last minute I am in this club, I will always give 100 percent and I want to win as many trophies as I can. And I want to give 100 percent to the people, who show me love all the time.”
Liverpool is fourth in the table, winless in four Premier League games, ahead of hosting Burnley on Thursday.
