Muscot Gunnersaurus returns to Arsenal.
To cut costs against the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic, Arsenal agreed to fire Jerry Quy, who has acted as a mascot club since 1993.
“Back to the Emirates,” the mascot’s tweet message said.
The club thought that there was no need for Gunnersaurus without fans in the stands. A strong response from the fans was provoked by this decision. Sevilla signed the mascot on the last day of the transfer window.
Then Mesut Ozil, the club’s midfielder, who had been removed from the EPL and Europa League club’s application, expressed his willingness to pay his full salary so that Gunnersaurus can remain with the team.
