Crystal Palace has with defender Nathan Ferguson signed a three-year contract. The 19-year-old right-back made a free transfer at West Brom late last month after his contract expired.
Ferguson told the club’s official website: “It’s incredible to be here. I think Crystal Palace is a beautiful club and I know there’s a lot I can add to the squad. I’m so excited to be here and I can’t wait to get started.”
An England youth international, Ferguson was highly regarded during his time with the Baggies, which he joined as an eight-year-old. He made his senior debut before the start of the 2019-20 season but did not play after January due to knee injury and left the club in late June after rejecting a new contract.
Chairman Steve Parish said: “Nathan is a great signing for us, a player for whom we have long committed ourselves. He’s young, concentrated, has a fantastic attitude, and he’s got plenty of talent. Nathan has been challenging for six months, and I’m just so happy with him that we’ve finally secured his services.”
