New Orleans Pelicans NBA team announced that three of its players have been infected with coronavirus and are in self-isolation, while the Denver Nuggets closed their training hall after it was revealed that two club staff members would be traveling to Orlando where it should take place.
Coronavirus corrupted again in the season finale. The Pelicans have not named the three players at issue.
“They should be able to get back to working with the team when they have two negative tests in a row,” club executive vice president David Griffin said.
At the time of the NBA league break, the Pelicans were on a win-loss record of 28-36 and have very little chance of reaching the playoffs when the season resumes on the 30th of this month in Orlando.
The Nuggets have not released positive names for coronavirus yet, it is only known how their center and best player Nikola Jokić tested positive in a check that was performed last week in Serbia.
The Nuggets kept the third place in the Western Conference until the end of the season, and now two teams from Los Angeles, the Lakers, and the Clippers are better than them.
Last week it was announced that 16 out of 302 players have tested for coronavirus positive.
