The resignation of head coach Neil Lennon has been confirmed by Celtic.
Bad output was the reason for the decision.

In the Scottish league table, the 49-year-old Northern Ireland international sits second, 18 points behind Steven Gerrard’s Rangers after 30 games. This was the second time Lennon had coached Celtic. From 2010 to 2014, he first led the club before returning to the role in 2019. He has won 10 trophies in total.

Neil’s assistant, John Kennedy, will take care of the team temporarily.

In December, Celtic made their 4th consecutive domestic treble, winning all the trophies in Scotland.
